Carpet Replacement in Common Areas
L.B. Johnson Apartment
The Cambridge Housing Authority, the Managing Agent for L.B. Johnson Apartments LLC, invites sealed bids to Replace Carpet in Common Areas at L.B. Johnson Apartments, Cambridge, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by the Cambridge Housing Authority.
L.B. Johnson Apartments, located in the Cambridgeport area, is a 177-unit elderly and disabled 12-story high-rise development that underwent a comprehensive modernization in 2013. The scope of work for the project is to replace the carpet and cove base in the common areas throughout this development.
The not-to-exceed value of this contract is $65,000 and there are four alternates for this project. Bids are subject to M.G.L. Chapter 149 §44A-J and to the Davis Bacon wage determination rates attached to the bid documents.

The time of acceptance of the bid by the Cambridge Housing Authority is 30 days from the date of the bid opening. Award of the contract is conditioned on approval by the Cambridge Housing Authority’s Executive Director. The contract is subject to appropriation of adequate funds and may be cancelled in the event such funds are not available.
All bids should be submitted electronically online at www.biddocsonline.com and received no later than Thursday, July 8, 2021 by 2:00PM and publicly opened online forthwith. Every bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the Cambridge Housing Authority.
