Project #1307 – Revitalization of Jefferson Park Federal
The Cambridge Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Waterproofing, Dampproofing & Caulking and Resilient Flooring Trade Bidders for the above-named project in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by BWA Architecture, Inc.
The project includes demolition and replacement of 8 multi-story masonry buildings containing 175 multi-family housing units, and 3 single-story accessory structures. The new construction consists of 6 four-story buildings containing 278 apartments, plus a single-story maintenance building. The project will also include extensive sitework and site utilities replacement. Consigli Construction Company is the construction manager at risk for the project. The work is estimated to cost $204,000,000.
Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by the Federal Department of Labor prevailing wage decision for Middlesex County Massachusetts, Residential Construction type.
ONLY PRE-QUALIFIED TRADE BIDDERS CAN BID ON THE FOLLOWING TRADES:
This bid is only open to pre-qualified trade bidders in the following trades. Trade bidders must be pre-qualified by the Awarding Authority and DCAMM certified for the trades listed below, and all bidders must include a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility, a signed DCAMM Sub-Bidder’s Update Statement, with their bid in addition to a bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid.

This bid is open to trade bidders who are DCAMM certified for the trades listed below, and all bidders must include a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility, a signed DCAMM Sub-Bidder’s Update Statement, with their bid in addition to a bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid.

THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID, AND HARD COPY BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please review the instructions in the bid documents on how to register as an electronic bidder. The bids are to be prepared and submitted at www.biddocsonline.com. Tutorials and instructions on how to complete the electronic bid documents are available online (click on the “Tutorial” tab at the bottom footer). All Bids should be submitted electronically online at www.biddocsonline.com and received no later than 2:00 pm on Thursday, 13 October 2022, and publicly opened online, forthwith.
All bidder questions must be submitted in writing by electronic submission to the Architect at jacksonplace@bwaboston.com. Questions must be received by the Architect by 5:00 pm on Thursday, 6 October 2022 to be answered. Include “Jackson Place Apartments Bidder RFI” in the email subject line.
Trade bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the Cambridge Housing Authority.
Bid Forms and Contract Documents will be available at www.biddocsonline.com (may be viewed electronically and downloaded at no cost) or hard copies may be purchased at Nashoba Blue, Inc. at 433 Main Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (tel. 978-568-1167).
Bids shall remain in effect for 120 days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded after opening. Successful bidders shall agree to commence work and complete the Work in accordance with the dates set forth in the Bidding Documents and Contract Documents.
