Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA) on behalf of Jackson Place Holding LLC requests that qualified and experienced Construction Management (CM) firms submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for Construction Management at Risk Services to the CHA in the manner specified in the Request for Qualifications by no later than 5:00 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time Thursday, March 11, 2021. Evaluations of the SOQ submissions will take place forthwith and the CHA anticipates responding to the received SOQs and issuing an RFP to qualified firms in the late March or early April 2021.
The project consists of the demolition and reconstruction of Jefferson Park Federal (aka Jackson Place), located on Jackson Place and Jackson Circle in North Cambridge. The Project Designer is BWA Architecture of Boston, MA and the CHA has its own OPM representatives on staff. The project site consists of consist of 175 units of housing and related community and programs spaces in 11 buildings, with 8 built in 1952 and 3 built in mid-1980s on approximately 8 acres of land. Plans call for demolishing all existing buildings and replacing them with eight new buildings containing approximately 280 to 290 units of housing.
