Cambridge Housing Authority Proudly Supports Boston’s 54th Annual Martin Luther King Memorial Breakfast

The Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA) proudly sponsored Boston’s 54th Annual Martin Luther King Memorial Breakfast at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Themed “Keeping the Promise of Democracy,” the event addressed challenges to civil rights, affirmative action, reproductive care, and LGBTQ+ protections.

Inspired by Dr. King’s words, “Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy,” the CHA reaffirmed its commitment to justice and equality. The event brought together leaders, politicians, and activists, featuring remarks from Governor Maura Healey, Mayor Michelle Wu, Rep. Ayanna Pressley, and Senator Ed Markey.

In the face of current assaults on social issues, the breakfast served as a call to action. The CHA’s sponsorship reflected its dedication to inclusive communities and social justice, contributing to the realization of Dr. King’s vision.
