Originally built in 1907 and acquired by CHA in 1975, 116 Norfolk Street has been transformed from Single Room Occupancy units into 62 deeply affordable, modern studio apartments. Known as “Dan’s Place” in honor of former CHA Executive Director Daniel J. Wuenschel, the building serves as a Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) site offering residents stable housing with access to voluntary on-site services that promote health, independence, and community well-being.
