The Legal Department provides supports and advises all CHA departments in matters involving federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as enforcement of CHA’s lease. With a specific focus on customer service and compliance, the Legal Department is also responsible for drafting, implementing, and training staff on a variety of policies and procedures including Reasonable Accommodations, Limited English Proficiency, and the Violence Against Women Act.
