5 Temple Street – Temple Place Apartments

Previously the site of an old pool building on the YWCA Cambridge campus, the Cambridge Affordable Housing Corporation (CAHC), an affiliate of the Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA), entered into an agreement with the YWCA Cambridge to redevelop the under-utilized parcel into affordable housing.

Located in Central Square, a major commercial and cultural hub in Cambridge, Temple Place Apartments is a five (5) story residential building with an elevator, common laundry and a management office. The development provides 40 deeply affordable apartments which is composed of 15 one-bedroom apartments and 25 two-bedroom apartments. Four apartments will be wheelchair accessible. The development provides 18 parking spaces and 24 bike spaces. Temple Place Apartments is Enterprise Green communities compliant which illustrates the CHA’s continued commitment to develop high-quality, energy-efficient apartments.
